Meet the founder and operator of Bianchi Candle Co and The Wild Worksmen, 15 year old entrepreneur Nic Bianchi
Nic will provide his background, and discuss start-up cost and finance of starting a business.
- Started his company at age 12 with a $100 candle making kit
- Built a plan and asked for investment of $500 to get his company started
- Sold 160 candles at his first show just 4 months later making approximately $1,280
- Used the money to invest in product to create more candles
- Secured an LLC in 2013 at the age of 13.
- Borrowed $1,500 to purchase an industrial wax melter. Used revenue to design a manufacturing line where he still hand pours but is able to produce over 500 candles in a 24 hour period.
- The terms – to be paid back in 6 months in full or 15% of every candle made for a full year.
- In 2017 he sold thousands of candles wholesale to boutiques, stores and shows.
- Bianchi Candle Co/The Wild Worksmen has double digit growth each year for the past 3 years.
Nic Bianchi leverages his love of math and science to create a one of a kind all natural soy candle. Nic Bianchi founded The Wild Worksmen at age 12 and founded Bianchi Candle Co at age 13.
