    Robotics and AI in Finance and their impact on Human Capital in a Changing World

    The presenter will discuss current trends in robotics and artificial intelligence, their impact on human capital in the finance field, and how our ever-changing world  influences these trends.


    Jennifer Murnane-Rainey, PhD

    President JAM Group LLC


    Jennifer has held executive-level finance, sales, marketing, and operations positions and played a key role in strategic planning efforts for organizations in the financial services, business services, and education industries. Jennifer has consulted on complex business issues to improve organizational performance in the corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors. 

    In addition, Jennifer's experience spans the fields of finance, adult education, and human capital.  She has authored several dozen academic and practitioner articles and helped create the Human Capital Lab at Bellevue University as the inaugural Director. She currently serves as an associate professor of finance and management at Midland University and runs a successful human capital strategy consulting company (JAM Group). 

    Jennifer holds a Ph.D. from Iowa State University in Family & Consumer Sciences Education with an emphasis in Financial Planning, as well as an MBA and BSBA in Finance and Banking from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

    Approved for up to 1.2 FP&A recertification credits by the Association for Financial Professionals at the rate of one credit for each 50 minutes of attendance.

    Executive Director with Morgan Stanley Investment Management

    Matt is a relationship manager for Morgan Stanley’s Global Liquidity team. He is responsible for providing cash and short-term fixed income strategies to institutional clients. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2014 and has 14 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, Matt was a money market sales associate at Standard Chartered Bank. Matt Received a B.S. in engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He holds his Series 7 and 63 registrations.

    Brian Buck

    Executive Director with Morgan Stanley Investment Management

    Brian is a Product Specialist for Morgan Stanley’s Global Liquidity team. He is responsible for the strategy, development, delivery and marketing of short-term investment management products including money market funds, ultra-short bond funds, and separately managed accounts. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2008 and has nine years of industry experience. Brian received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
